The existing bridge had piers and abutments in stone masonry and deck in steel truss. The project consisted of the rehabilitation and reinforcement of the masonry piers and abutments and the replacement of the steel truss deck by a steel-concrete composite deck. The metal component is made of Warren type steel truss, with a reinforced concrete upper slab, made using pre-slabs. The bridge has a maximum span of 45 m and a total length of 228.35m.
